10/26/2010 dinner at Consul General’s residence
On October 26, 2010 Consul General Gao and his wife hosted the Flying Tiger Historical Organization board members and their wives at a dinner put on at his residence in San Francisco.
The FTHO presented Consul General Gao with a number of significant artifacts which he will transfer to the museum in Guilin.
It was a lovely evening with a beautifully set table where guests enjoyed a number of delicious Chinese courses. Board members and wives had a chance to chat informally with Consul General Gao, his wife, and San Francisco Consulate staff members.
The occasion was to thank the FTHO for their ongoing efforts to bring the Flying Tiger Heritage Park project to fruition and their efforts to build stronger friendships between the Chinese people and Americans.
